Steubenville Mid-America

This year we will be going to Steubenville Mid-America in Springfield on July 11-13.

Description of the Conference:

“The high school youth conferences are individually specialized for today’s youth. They are organized on a national and regional level. With an exciting line-up of speakers, musicians and presenters, the high school youth conferences will challenge today’s Catholic youth to stand firm in their faith, rely upon the awesome power of Jesus Christ who is their guide, friend and Savior, and to show that faith to the world. A highlight of the weekend is a powerful time of Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration. Many youth have come to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit through the weekend. If your teens are beginning their personal walk with Christ, needing strength to continue the journey, or just ready to rejoice in the many blessings He has given, then this the conference you are looking for!”

Transportation:

We will take a charter bus to and from Springfield, Missouri.

Lodging for the Conference:

We stay on the Missouri State University.

Travel Schedule (tentative)

Friday:

11:30noon: Leave Columbia for Conference (Eat with your family before we leave)
3:30pm: Arrive at Conference and register
4:30pm: Follow Conference Schedule

Saturday:

Follow Conference Schedule

Sunday:

11:30: Mass. Conference ends after Mass, get travel lunches, load up
2pm: Depart for Columbia
5:30pm: Arrive at Lourdes

How to Register

Go to Steubenville Mid-America's web page and click on "Week 1: July 11-13"
Beside the words "individual registration" you see "create an account". Click on that link and set up an account for yourself. (You DO NOT need any information about our group to complete this step. Just make up your own user ID and password, and fill out the form.
Now go back to the "Week 1: July 11-13" page and click on "individual registration"
Fill out this form. At the bottom you will find a box titled "Group;" Find the group titled "Our Lady of Lourdes - Doug Royal."
After filling out that form you will be redirected to a form that you need to print, sign, and turn into our office at Our Lady of Lourdes - Our church keeps track of all the paperwork and money, and then I send it to them later.
