And, we’re done for the year.
And, we’re done for the year.
Hey everybody, I got a couple calls wondering if we are meeting tonight, and we definitely are. Tonight we’re wrapping up our semester study of the Bible with some stories (about you), a review of the stories we discussed this semester, and a quick survey of how the Bible came to be what it is today.
I made a couple handouts about what we discussed from the Bible, so hopefully that will be a good guide for you as you continue to learn more about Sacred Scripture.
We aren’t having any more Sunday-morning meetings this year.
We don’t have any more Sunday meetings this year. But the Wednesday group will keep going until the end of May.
This week we finish up our survey of the Bible by exploring the book of Acts and looking the Early Church.
This month’s social is “A Blast from the Past.”
We’ll remember the good old days with wet diaper relays and baby food belching contests.
We’re done studying the stories of the old testament, so the logical next step is to start reading the Gospels . . . but, I’m guessing you’re pretty familiar with the stories about Jesus’s life, so this Wednesday, April 30, we’re going to dig through the Old Testament and for the prophesies about Jesus. Then you will be the world’s greatest Old Testament Bible Scholars . . . well maybe not but I bet you’d be able to hold your own in any disscusion about scripture.
We’re having early registration this weekend after all the masses
