Moses triplet (old covenant)

The second triplet of the windows is concerned with Moses.  He lived about 1250 B.C. and is mentioned about 80 times in the New Testament, more than any other Old Testament person.  The events surrounding the life of Moses are the central events of the Old Testament or the Old Covenant itself.  These include the Passover meal, the exodus from Egypt, and covenant at the Mount Sinai.  Moses, himself, is another model faith.  His faith manifests itself in leadership by service and is also tested by God throughout his life.

Before the time of Moses, the only part of the three-fold promise to Abraham that had been filled was that of many descendants.  Now, in the events surrounding the life of Moses, we see the fulfillment of the second part of the promise to Abraham, a promised land.  The third part of the promise, blessings for all nations, is not to be manifest for many generations.
