1. Can you relate to the central
events of the Old Testament (Passover Meal, Exodus, and Old Covenant) with
the central events of the New Testament (Eucharistic Meal, Redemption,
and New Covenant)?
2. If the Israelites established a relationship with God through the Covenant sealed with a sacrifice of animals, how much greater is our covenant with God when sealed with the sacrifice of Jesus? (Hebrews 9 & 10, especially 9:13-14)
3. Did you know that the Passover meal recalled the Jew’s deliverance from slavery as our Passover Meal (the Mass) recalls our redemption from sin?
4. Did you ever reflect that Jesus
offered himself on the Cross, we offer this same sacrifice at Mass, and
the Saints simultaneously offer it forever in heaven? (Revelation
4 & 5)
