Welcome back Second Graders and Second Grade Parents! What an exciting year is ahead for all of us. I have listed important dates for the coming school year regarding First Reconciliation and First Communion.
Parents-Please remember that your child will not be able to make his/her First Communion until we are able to see and photocopy your child’s original baptism certificate. Please contact Kathleen Armistead (Religious Education Director) or the parish office if you need help in securing the original certificate. If your child was baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes, you will not need to turn in a certificate.
Dates to Remember: 2012/2013 school year
September 20: Reconciliation Meeting for Parents – 7 pm Flanagan Hall
September 25: Creative Learning Center for First Reconciliation-Parent will work through various stations with their child to learn more about the sacrament. 6:30 – 8:30 pm; Located in Flanagan Hall.
OR – Must attend only one of theses sessions for the learning center.
September 29: Creative Learning Center for First Reconciliation-Parent will work through various stations with their child to learn more about the sacrament. 9 – 11 am; Located in Flanagan Hall.
November 8: Reconciliation Service – 7 pm Church
January 10: First Communion Meeting for Parents – 7 pm Flanagan Hall
January 13: Rite of Enrollment – all Masses except 7 AM
February 12, 6:30-8:30: Creative Learning Center for First Communion-Parent will work through various station with their child to learn more about the sacrament. Located in Flanagan Hall

March 16: First Communion Interviews-Parish Office Building; 9 am-Noon. Contact Parish Office (445-7915) to schedule interview time
May 5: Group First Communion Mass @ 2 pm in Church.
