Why Catholic?
"Why Catholic?" is a unique adult faith formation process solidly based on Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and updated to include citations from the newly published United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.

This year our parish will be focusing on book number two: Celebrating The Christian Mystery: Liturgy and Sacraments. Topics for these sessions are as follows:
1. Liturgy: Celebrating the Paschal Mystery
2. Sacraments: Signs of the New Covenant
3. The Body of Christ at Prayer
4. Baptism: Born to New Life in Christ
5. Confirmation: Sealed with the Spirit
6. Eucharist: The Real Presence of Christ
7. Penance and Reconciliation: God Rich in Mercy
8. The Anointing of the Sick: A Sacrament of Healing
9. Holy Orders: Called to Serve
10. Matrimony: At the Service of Communion
11. Sacramentals and Devotions: Pray at All Times
12. Sacred Space, Sacred Time
Sign-up weekend is September 18-19 after all Masses. You need not have completed book one to participate.
Small Group Facilitators are needed! Training is provided on Saturday, August 28th at Sacred Heart Parish from 9am to noon; the leader manual is provided by the parish.
